Cozy, one bedroom cabin with kitchen and full bathroom. Amenities include a foldout couch and complete kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee pot, pots and pans, and anything you might need to cook.

Internet access is available at the cabin. Cell service can be accessed on your cell phone thru the Wi-Fi; the cabin also provides a phone for free local calls.

There is a VCR and old movies to watch, but there is no access to satellite or Cable television

Horse corral available behind the Wisdom Cabin for an additional $10 fee per night.

Our little green cabin is located in a residential area three blocks off of Main Street within the town of Wisdom in the beautiful Big Hole Valley.

The Montana Lodge

Welcome to The Montana Lodge, a Luxury Cabin, nestled in the heart of the Big Hole Valley in Wisdom, Montana. The cabin is over 100 years old and was refurbished on site by owners Kay & Daryll Jacobson. Full of artistic detail, the inside makes use of reclaimed wood and a unique beautiful door from an old ski lodge. At just $210 per night, the cabin offers quick access to the Big Hole River, a Fisherman’s paradise. The entire Big Hole Valley is a hunters dream and offers snowmobile and cross-country skiing trails galore. Lost Trail Ski Resort is just 26 miles down the road, and a quick 18 miles to the Jackson Hot Springs Lodge. Two restaurants are in walking distance as well as a great coffee shop, gift shop, country market, and fuel/service station. 

The Montana Lodge cabin offers beautiful mountain views and an outdoor fire pit and seating. The yard features a stand of aspens and is an exquisite space shared with the owner’s residence. The cabin was moved from the Pons Ranch. Butte is 75 miles to the North and Dillon is 65 miles to the South. 

The Montana Lodge was originally located on the west side of the Big Hole Valley about 15 miles from the town of Wisdom, Montana. Built in the 1940's, the log cabin served as a bunkhouse on the Pons Ranch for a number of years. In the 1990's, the cabin was moved to the south end of Wisdom by Daryll and Kay Jacobson. Updated into a comfortable, luxurious cabin, the Montana Lodge is perfect for a quiet, luxurious weekend alone or an evening with friends.

Pioneer Mountain Lodge

Pioneer Mountain Lodge is your home away from home. Clean comfortable beds with luxury linens and western style furnishings. All rooms have UVC lighting prior to your stay with us. There are a total of three suites. Each suite has a living room, bathroom, bedroom and a kitchen. The kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, a coffee pot, cookware and tableware. DISH TV with 100 plus channels and WIFI are also included. Other amenities include a HOT TUB with a beautiful view of the Beaverhead Mountains and a sunset you won’t soon forget.

Big Hole River RV Park

The Big Hole River RV Park is located in the town of Wisdom, Montana. The Big Hole Valley, also known as the "Valley of 10,000 Haystacks," finds itself surrounded by the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. With close proximity to the Anaconda Mountains and Pioneer Mountains, outdoor enthusiasts will find easy access to plenty of hiking, biking, fishing, climbing and exploring. Many of the area trails are ATV designated, and campers spend hours viewing wildlife and enjoying the sights.

The Big Hole River RV Park is just a short distance from world class trout fishing in the famous Big Hole River. Our park offers full hook ups with 30/50-amp service at each site and pull through sites for big rigs. Tent sites and clean showers and restrooms available. Come relax and enjoy the Montana hospitality!

Drinking and cooking water is provided from a well; in the winter (because of freezing pipes) toilets and shower/sinks are available in the main house (25 yards from your cabin); there is also a 2-person hot tub available for your relaxation pleasure.

We are dog friendly; however please let us know ahead of time if you bring pets as we have huge, 200 plus lbs dogs on the property and want to keep you and your pet safe

For continental Trail Hikers pick-up and drop-off at Lost Trail parking area is available upon request.

Daryll and Kay Jacobson owned the Wisdom River Gallery for over 30 years. In May of 2010, a fire destroyed their business.
